Kidz R Us is an award-winning youth theatre company based in St Ives.
Kidz R Us is an extraordinary youth theatre group, working with around 100 young people a year, aged seven and up. A not-for-profit arts charity, they aim to encourage the participation of young people in the performing arts and behind-the-scenes crafts, both for their own personal development and the benefit of the wider community.
The theatre company puts on four large-scale productions each year, plus a number of fundraising concerts and youth theatre workshops. They can involve more than 100 young people from various backgrounds, aged seven and up, in acting, singing and dancing.
There’s usually something going on at the theatre, even if it’s not one of their shows, so keep an eye on What’s On section of their website. Sir Tim Rice is our Patron and our Director, Phil Barnett, was awarded a British Empire Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2012.
