Ayr Holiday Park Accessibility Statement

Our Holiday Park has Caravan Holiday Homes, Touring and Camping pitches.

All of our caravans have a step up and then an access ramp to each individual caravan.

We have both 2 and 3 bedroomed holiday caravans and a total of 50 altogether and 2 holiday apartments.

The caravans are in categories A-J, with some of the types having a decked seating area to the front of them with access from the lounge through patio windows.

The majority of the touring and camping pitches are on level ground being either hard standing or grass.

The shower block has a small gentle cobbled slope to the main ladies and gents showers and toilet facilities, with private individual rooms which provide shower, toilet and basin in a wet room style with one room providing a bath.

There is one disabled individual private room with wider door, higher toilet, shower seat, grab rails and an alarm fitted.

We take safety of our customers very seriously and therefore there is a 10mph speed limit throughout the park. All roads are tarmacadam.

There is short term parking to the front of the reception and laundry facilities.

There are 5 individual steps with gentle slopes to the reception area, where check-in for holiday caravans and touring takes place, with tourist information and details of out of hours contact information. If you are unable to access reception please phone of email and we can make arrangements to suit. We ask that only one person at a time enters reception.

There are taxi numbers, bus and train information available from reception.

There is a newsagent approx 200m from the holiday park. There is also a Spar shop approx 400m away and a larger Co-op approx 600m away. Both the Spar and Co-op have parking. We accept deliveries from on-line supermarkets and stores.

Dogs are welcome in some of the holiday caravans plus the touring fields. There is a dog exercise field at the end of the park with a small slope leading into the field.

The park itself is situated at the top of St Ives with views over St Ives Bay. Walking into town would take approx 10 – 15 minutes downhill, please be aware there is a fairly steep climb back to the holiday park.

If you have specific requirements, please contact reception in advance of your stay to discuss how we can assist.
