Ayr Holiday Park - St. Ives Holiday Accommodation

Touring and Camping at Ayr Holiday Park St. Ives, Cornwall

The main touring park at Ayr has camping pitches for tents, motor-caravans and touring caravans. There are excellent views over the sea from most pitches and although the field is naturally sloping, there are areas of level terracing. Almost all pitches have an electric hook-up (16 amp), a tap and drain.

Our shower and toilet block is kept clean and maintained to a very high standard. Services such as showers, hot water, hair dryers, shaver points etc. are all free. There are also dishwashing sinks and a chemical toilet disposal point, plus a waste and water point for motor caravans.

Many people return here year after year, knowing they will be within walking distance of the heart of St Ives and being confident of the standard of services provided.

There are additional camping pitches for tents available during the summer, in a section adjoining the main touring site. There are some fully serviced pitches available and you would use the shower and toilet facilities in the main touring section. The maximum tent size we can accommodate at Ayr is a generous 20ft (6m). Tents up to 26ft (8m) can be accommodated at nearby Trevalgan Touring Park.

The advantages of choosing Ayr for your camping or caravan holiday in St Ives are that you will benefit from the best of facilities, both for practical matters and entertainment, along with enjoying quick access to the town and beaches. St Ives is a good starting point from which to explore other parts of Cornwall including Lands End, Penwith and the North Coast.

Pets

Small-medium sized dogs are accepted all year in the main touring park and from September to June in the camping area. A charge is made for each dog and there is a field set aside for exercising your pet. Elsewhere dogs must be kept on a lead, not left alone in the park or allowed to cause a nuisance.

TO AVOID THE TOWN CENTRE:

Touring caravans and larger motor-caravans particularly should take care to follow directions given to find the park. Follow this link to the Touring Directions page.
